Hello Folks! I am going to make this very short and sweet. Yes, the title of this Internet Blog is exactly what it says...lifting and carrying while pregnant. As myself being a forty-some year-old male, I have 1.) always had a fascination for strong/muscular women and 2.) have always had a curiosity about expectancies, pregnancies, abortion, motherhood, etc. I will give you all time to take this in...
There now! Anyway, as I was saying, I like strong women who are/are not expectant mothers. I don't know; it always fascinates me when a woman is able to handle her OVERWHELMING odds somehow. I know that right now, there are a few women out here on the Internet who have been heavily criticized for lifting weights while pregnant. One time, there was a video of a woman armwrestling other people on stage - with her winning most of the time! Word has it that even some women's clubs like to take on wrestling, boxing, playing hockey, playing gridiron football, etc. while carrying their Unborn Fetuses. (NOTE: Personally, I DON'T think playing rough-and-tough contact sports like this is healthy for pregnant women, though.) History has recorded a few instances where some women have even fought and killed their enemies while being pregnant. (I believe that Babs Steorts, a female employee at Gatorland, down in Florida USA, wrestled an alligator while she was pregnant!) I heard that there are also videos dealing with submissive women in BDSM (bondage domination sado masochism) videos who are pregnant, and there are even some videos that show expectant mothers being punched in their bellies. (SICK!) Of course, I won't get too much into these dangerous sports, but how do each of you honestly feel about women who just risk it all - or just perform feats of strength - while carrying Tomorrow's Leaders (possibly)? Personally, I do have mixed opinions on this.
As far lifting and carrying is concerned, have any of you ever participated in and/or observed a Lift and Carry (or Lapsitting) Session in which a PREGNANT woman was lifting and carrying (or being a lapseat for) a man and/or another woman? What was your reaction? Do any of you have any visuals and/or stories relating to that type of thing? If you do, then please respond to me as soon as you can.
